These are all taken from recent experience.
Do not drive in reverse on a one way street.
The situation:
A driver enters an intersection and begins to turn right as if to travel the correct direction on a one way street. They then shift into reverse and back down the one way street going the wrong direction. Just because your car is pointed in the correct direction does not mean you are going the correct direction.
Do not speed up to pass another vehicle then slow down to turn right.
An automobile, wanting to turn right, speeds by a cyclist then forces the cyclist to swerve as they slow down to turn right. Just wait the extra five or ten seconds and give yourself some good samaritan points.
Do not enter traffic only to slow and turn left.
A van forces a cyclist to swerve to the left as it enters traffic from a drive on the right. It then slows to turn left forcing the cyclist to swerve back to the right. *NICE* Nothing like forcing me into traffic twice.
Do not back around a parked car to get to the parking spot behind it.
A automobile passes a parking spot and a parked car, then pulls to the curb. Some automobiles pass, then the same car reverses back into the street, around the parked car and pulls into the parking spot behind the parked car. Is it to much to ask for drivers to either be alert when looking for parking spots or to go around the block if they drive past them?
It would make me very happy to not be your hood ornament.
At an intersection, do not pull to the right curve then turn left onto a one way street and back into a parking spot.

Wow — sounds like yooou had a great day.
It’s actually about a weeks worth of “interesting driving techniques.” so it’s not as bad as it may seem from the post. It may also be “new commuter” shock as I was away from it for a while.
driving backwards down a one-way street, hahahahahahaha….. okay, I shouldn’t laugh, but dang are some people dumb…
