I’m tri-ing though it may not seem like it

On monday I received my Pigman confirmation email, and sat there reading the whole thing in a state of complete shock. Am I ready for this damn thing? Let’s check the recent.. um.. improvements or lack thereof:

  1. Get a wetsuit. check
  2. Get the bike position worked out. check
  3. Get some open water swim practice. heeeheheheheheheh
  4. Ride the bike more, train for speed. shit
  5. Run train for speed. Hmmmm..

To top it all off, there’s also this little ditty:

Water temperature on race day will be around 65 degrees. Bring a wetsuit if you have one.

Well, at least the wetsuit will get a bit of use, huh?
