On monday I received my Pigman confirmation email, and sat there reading the whole thing in a state of complete shock. Am I ready for this damn thing? Let’s check the recent.. um.. improvements or lack thereof:
- Get a wetsuit. check
- Get the bike position worked out. check
- Get some open water swim practice. heeeheheheheheheh
- Ride the bike more, train for speed. shit
- Run train for speed. Hmmmm..
To top it all off, there’s also this little ditty:
Water temperature on race day will be around 65 degrees. Bring a wetsuit if you have one.
Well, at least the wetsuit will get a bit of use, huh?
