Brit’s Pub is having a fund raising auction of their lawn bowling chairs in support of the YWCA’s Channel Challenge. It’s a good opportunity, to bring swimming opportunities to underserved children and youth such as swim instruction, swim team participation and job training in lifeguarding and coaching.
If you’ve taken swimming lessons from Dave and enjoyed the opportunity to receive the benefits of his instruction, then please consider supporting his efforts.

At my last swim lesson, Dave asked, You’re friends with the Birchwood girls aren’t you? Where are they?
I was left shrugging my shoulders. He suggested that he would expect those people (you know who you are) to help support the Channel Challenge folks in their efforts. I now consider my responsibility to pass the information along dispatched.
