Eddie Griffin died in an auto accident on Aug 17th, and for several days the world was unaware. Unfortunately, it took that long to identify his charred remains. His vehicle burst into flames after ignoring a railroad warning, driving though the barrier, and striking a moving train.
Griffin played for the Timberwolves for a couple of seasons, but may have been best known locally for his traffic accident involving masturbation, intoxication, and a pornographic video. He lived a tumultuous life, and died a fiery death.
